Tate's TNR & Rescue was formally founded in 2020 by E. Taylor Young. Taylor began rescuing cats in 2015 and knew that she wanted to focus on helping stray and feral cats due to the lack of assistance in the rural Kentucky area. Taylor started by transporting 4-5 cats at a time to be spayed/neutered and paying out of pocket to help caregivers in need. This dream became a reality in 2020 when Tate's was founded to further assist colony caretakers and animals with TNR. Tate's TNR & Rescue is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization. Tate's was created to help reduce the over population of feral/free roaming cats and improve the life span on these cats by providing much needed veterinarian care and prevention services. We hope to assist many more animals with your assistance.
Our mission at Tate's TNR & Rescue is to help manage and protect the homeless cat population. By doing so we utilize Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to prevent hundreds of thousands of suffering cats and kittens. Through TNR we are able to prevent unwanted litters of kittens and expand the lifespan of cats. We also offer rescue cat adoptions at our onsite location.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve the lives of animals. Your generous donation will fund our mission and is tax deductible by law under section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code.
